Richard Kingston calls on Ghanaians to rally behind Black Stars

Ghana goalkeeper’s trainer Richard Kingston has call on Ghanaians to support the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The support has dwindled with many pessimistic vibes folllowing a disappointing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. It got worse after the nation’s uninspiring performances against Brazil, having suffered a 3-0 defeat and a solitary win over Nicaragua. Kingston believes Ghana will excel at the Mundial with the support of Ghanaians. “They want to do something for the nation, and for me, that department is safe. Anybody who gets the chance to be in the post will give off their maximum best.” Richard Kingston told Ghanasoccernet. “I want Ghanaians to come together to support the Black Stars with all our energy because it is our own no matter what,” he added. Ghana will lock horns with Switzerland in an international friendly to wrap up World Cup preparations on November, 17. The Black Stars are in group H alongside Portugal, South Korea Republic and Uruguay respectively.
